This morning – Friday, 4th May 2018 – three Conservative candidates stood nervously, alongside candidates in other parties, at the end of long tables overseeing their count. All three were elected to Turnham Green ward and were immediately presented with a huge induction pack with briefings on the ward, the role of councillor and the complicated workings of the council.
The results were:

John Stroud-Turp, Labour: 1,153
Helen Cross, Liberal Democrat: 859
Leigh Edwards, Liberal Democrat: 738
Chris Gillie: Liberal Democrat: 733
