We organised another successful Chiswick community clean-up, this time in four locations simultaneously and coinciding with the Keep Britain Tidy campaign.
Cllr Ranjit Gill joined in with the group in Chiswick Homefields ward, meeting at Airedale Avenue.
Cllr Sam Hearn and Cllr Gabriella Giles supported residents in and around Chiswick House in Chiswick Riverside ward.
Cllr Ron Mushiso teamed up with the West Chiswick and Gunnersbury Society, meeting on Chiswick High Road opposite Chiswick Business Park, in Turnham Green ward. They are in the photo.
Cllr Joanna Biddolph was out with volunteers from Christ Church and other Turnham Green ward residents to clean up on and around Turnham Green and especially the rockery and the boundary with Chiswick High Road.
Many sacks were filled but everyone found less litter than usual - residents remain cautious about COVID-19 restrictions and haven't been going out more.
Thank you to to everyone who swished their litter pick sticks through grass and grit, exposing litter and waste, and picking up with thorough determination.
